CHILDREN MISSING. CURSED WOODS BLAMED.

Two teens were declared missing by Greenfield PD yesterday. Trevor Mason and Mallory White, both sophomores at Greenfield High School, were reported missing when they didn't return home last week. Police are on high alert as the children are both suspected to have entered the nearby woods of Thicket Grove.

Many have gone missing in the woods or suffered animal attacks over the years, leading local police to declare Thicket Grove "dangerous after sundown". Greenfield locals have called for the woods to be closed off from public access. Superstition surrounds the woods as locals claim it to be haunted or cursed. "The Grove" has appeared on multiple cryptid and paranormal websites which only muddy the waters of fact and fiction and heighten local fears.

Greenfield detectives have conducted a sweep of the woods, but wetland, thick brush, foggy weather impede the search. If you or someone you know has any information regarding the whereabouts of these children, please contact Greenfield PD.
